The Therapeutic Thermal Baths represent an ideal place to enjoy a healthy bath, to restore harmony and vitality to your body, to dissolve the accumulation of thoughts of your daily routine and to find your psychophysical balance. They are fed by hyperthermal water + 43° that flows from the spring located on the bank of the river Farma. The strong smell of sulfur that emanates is due to the presence of hydrogen sulfide in significant concentrations. It is also rich in free carbon dioxide, calcium, fluorine, chloride ions, sulfate and hydrogen carbonate. Thanks to these components, the thermal water of Terme di Petriolo contains many healthy and beneficial properties that have remained unchanged over time. The balneotherapy in thermal baths, in fact, in addition to giving a feeling of general well-being helps to prevent and treat various chronic diseases of the body:
- action on the osteo-articular apparatus: it reduces muscular rigidity, relieves pain and carries out an anti-inflammatory action in the various forms of widespread arthrosis;
- action on the respiratory apparatus: decongestant, mucolytic and trophic on the mucosa;
- action on the cutaneous apparatus: anti-inflammatory, keratolytic and keratoplastic.
Reservations
No reservations are accepted for entrance to the therapeutic thermal baths.
Reservations can be made for treatments.
Regulation
All those who access the thermal pools must sign the release form at the entrance to the facility. For minors, the release will be signed by a parent or carer.
Access to the thermal pools is NOT allowed for children under 6 years of age. Children aged 6 to 12 can access the thermal pools for a limited time (maximum 10 minutes) and under the supervision of a parent or carer.
